| SELCO MD Harish Hande meets Barack Obama |
The meeting with President Obama was about entrepreneurship and specially social entrepreneurship. SELCO emphasized the need to connect poverty alleviation and sustainable energy. The President moderated a panel for 30 minutes and then spoke to each of the social entrepreneur. SELCO spoke about the need of the house being decentralized energy and its importance for a country like India. Also I emphasized about potential replication of processes and business models among the poor in the US. |
